Choose your foundation
backstageHR™ is a monthly software subscription with all software features included. You can purchase it without a CEDR handbook and upload and share your own existing employee handbook. Ongoing CEDR handbook updates require a purchased CEDR handbook linked to an active software service. Uploading an outside handbook does not qualify it for ongoing CEDR updates.
A professionally customized CEDR handbook is $1,999 as a separate one-time purchase when bundled with backstageHR™ software or Premier Advisor Membership. The standalone handbook is $2,499, so bundling saves $500. Monthly software or membership fees are separate. Ongoing CEDR handbook updates apply only to your purchased CEDR handbook while it is linked to an active software service.

Premier Advisor Membership includes everything in backstageHR™ and adds access to CEDR HR Advisors by phone, email or through backstageHR™. Get help handling employee issues and making informed HR decisions. A CEDR handbook is required and is a separate one-time purchase.
White-Glove Payroll
Let CEDR take payroll busywork off your plate. Here is how it works: We remind you to close payroll. You review and approve. CEDR processes payroll. U.S.-based support is part of the service. Payroll connects with backstageHR™ timekeeping and automatic PTO tracking, and is available with backstageHR™ software or Premier Advisor Membership. CEDR White-Glove Payroll™ is priced separately at $105 per month for up to 5 employees. With payroll, the additional-employee rate is $6.50 instead of $3.50 per month. The two employee rates are not added together.
